Your child can attend more than 15 hours a week but these will be charged for at our standard hourly rate. As of September 2017, children of working parents in Cambridgeshire may be entitled to 30 hours of free childcare per term time week.

5. How can we support our child’s learning at home?

Each child has a key worker who:
Builds a positive relationship with you and your child so you both feel secure about the time your child spends at Preschool
Observes your child and ensures the care and learning opportunities provided meet their individual needs, supporting and extending their development.
Records evidence of the child’s development including keeping examples of their work or photographs of them at play. This is to ensure that all children experience a balanced range of activities
Keeps you regularly informed about your child’s progress – any information you can provide about your child’s interests, achievements and development at home will help with this.

Parents have opportunities to help support their child when they receive their child’s next steps each term. Parents are very welcome to talk to their child’s key worker at any time regarding their child’s progress.
